📖 SYNOPSIS

When Youshen Bupo, a prince of the Shang dynasty, pulls a wounded sect disciple out of danger, that one act of kindness basically rewrites both their lives. Youshen Bupo isn't your typical royal — he's out in the wild, far from any throne room, when he crosses paths with Jiang Li of the Taiyi Sect. From there, the two end up tagging along with a merchant caravan, which sounds uneventful until you factor in divine tribulations raining down, mythical beasts blocking the road, and bandits who picked the wrong travelers to mess with. This is a 13-episode ONA from Qingxiang Culture, adapted from a web novel, and it draws heavily from the Shanhai Jing — that ancient Chinese bestiary full of bizarre creatures and forgotten geography. The world-building here leans into that source material hard, filling every landscape with something strange and dangerous. The martial arts choreography has real weight to it, and the fantasy elements feel rooted in actual mythology rather than generic magic systems. Underneath all the action, there's a slow-burning thread about two dynasties — the Xia and the Shang — heading toward a conflict that's going to pull everyone in. If you've been watching stuff like San Xian Lun Hui or Legend of Liu Yi and want another Chinese fantasy series that takes its mythological roots seriously, this one fits right into that lane. Jiu Jiu Ba Shi Yi fans might also find the tone familiar. It's action-packed but gives its world room to breathe.

You're looking for a complete story—13 episodes set up a larger war that likely continues later
