EPISODE CONTEXT

Following the Quinx Squad's introductory mission in Episode 1, this second episode pivots from establishing the premise to excavating the personal fault lines within the team — particularly Sasaki's unstable sense of self. It's an early-season foundation episode, laying the psychological and interpersonal groundwork that will drive character conflicts and allegiances across the remaining ten episodes. The internal squad tensions introduced here between Urie, Shirazu, and Sasaki's leadership are threads the season will continue pulling on.
