馃摉 SYNOPSIS
In "The New Adventures of Gigantor," Shoutarou Kaneda, a pre-teen, discovers his late father's legacy: a colossal, remote-controlled robot named Tetsujin. Accepting his father's mission, Shoutarou, now in charge of the 50-ton giant, joins Interpol to fight for peace. His adventures span the globe, taking him underwater, through time, and into space. He is mentored by Dr. Shikishima, his father's colleague, and Inspector Ohtsuka, Shoutarou's Interpol liaison. Shoutarou and Tetsujin face various villains, including mad scientists, pirates, ninjas, and international criminals, each with their own giant robots. The ultimate challenge is the Space Demon King, an alien whose power threatens the entire Solar System. Shoutarou's bond with Tetsujin is crucial to their success.
