Synopsis

Born with the bloodline of the Yuki-onna — the Snow Woman from Japanese folklore — Himuro-kun has a serious problem: every time he gets flustered, stressed, or even a little too focused, he accidentally creates blizzards, freezes objects, or encases himself in ice. Not ideal for an office job. On his first day at work, he's so nervous he literally freezes up, and his new coworker Fuyutsuki-san calmly helps him thaw out like it's the most normal thing in the world. That's basically their dynamic: he catches feelings and generates snowstorms, she responds with quiet warmth and practical solutions, and neither of them quite realizes how much they're gravitating toward each other. This is a 12-episode TV series that's less about plot and more about vibes. The supernatural element isn't really the point — it's a visual metaphor for how this guy wears his heart on his sleeve while his crush stays composed on the surface. The office setting gives it a grounded, adult feel, and the supporting cast of coworkers adds enough personality to keep things from getting repetitive. It's cozy in the way a warm drink on a cold day is cozy. If you liked the workplace romance energy of Wotakoi or the sweet slow-burn of My Senpai is Annoying, this fits right in that lane. And the folklore twist gives it a touch of that urban fantasy charm you'd find in something like The Devil is a Part-Timer, just way more low-key. Good comfort watch, zero stress.

I have a lot of mixed feelings for this one. I like the fantasy infused thing they have going on, but the characters feels flat to me. It’a a shame because it’s getting difficult trying to find day to day animes with an adult character
