"Mirai Fukuin" presents a side story within the "Kara no Kyoukai" universe, focusing on individuals with precognitive abilities. The narrative is split into two distinct parts. The first introduces Shizune Seo and Mitsuru Kamekura, psychics burdened by their ability to foresee the future. Shizune struggles with the monotony of her predictable life, while Meruka exploits his power for destructive purposes. Their lives take an unexpected turn when they encounter Mikiya and Shiki, respectively, challenging their preordained destinies.
