EPISODE CONTEXT
This is the third and final episode of the Opera House Murder Case arc, wrapping up the investigation that began in episode 21 and escalated in episode 22. As the resolution of one of the show's early multi-part mysteries, it demonstrates the series' commitment to fully developed case arcs and sets the stage for the next storyline, the 'Kindaichi the Killer' arc, which will shift the dynamic considerably.
