After inheriting a struggling café, Hayato's plans to sell it are complicated when he finds five beautiful women living there who convince him to stay.

📖 SYNOPSIS

When his late grandmother leaves him a seaside café, Hayato Kasukabe plans to tear it down — only to find five women already living there who have zero intention of leaving. They were taken in by his grandmother, they loved her, and they're not about to let some college kid from Tokyo bulldoze their home. So Hayato gets guilt-tripped, outnumbered, and eventually roped into running the café with them. That's your setup for this 12-episode TV series from Tezuka Productions. What follows is a harem comedy where the real draw is how distinct each of the five women feels. Ouka's headstrong, Akane's got a sharp tongue, Riho's quieter but hides more than she lets on, Shiragiku's gentle to a fault, and Ami's the energetic wild card. The café setting in a coastal town gives everything a warm, laid-back atmosphere, and there's a genuine found-family thread running underneath the ecchi comedy beats. It doesn't reinvent the genre, but it handles the formula with more care than you'd expect. If you liked The Quintessential Quintuplets or We Never Learn, this hits a similar sweet spot — multiple love interests with actual personality differences, a protagonist who grows on you, and enough comedic chaos to keep things moving. The romance builds slowly, the comedy lands more often than it misses, and the seaside vibe makes it an easy, pleasant watch.

❌ SKIP IF...

You're tired of standard harem tropes — this doesn't break the mold across its 12 episodes
Fanservice that interrupts character development is a dealbreaker for you
You want deep backstories early on — the girls stay pretty surface-level in Season 1
