EPISODE CONTEXT
Picking up directly from the boys' bold decision to run away and become pirates, episode 14 deepens the Jackson Island escapade by letting the consequences of that choice sink in. Sitting roughly a quarter into the 49-episode run, this stretch represents a pivotal adventure sequence that tests the bonds between Tom, Huck, and Ben while setting up the emotional fallout their disappearance will inevitably cause back in town.
