📖 SYNOPSIS
The anime "Techno Police" centers on a high-tech chase involving the hijacked MBT-99A tank, designed by the United States Air Force. This tank, equipped with dual-mounted treads, six ATGM launchers, a laser-based machine gun, and a rifled main gun, is pursued by the Techno Police after being stolen by bank robbers hired by a shadowy group. The tank's laser weapon is slow-firing, and the tank itself is the object of the audience's fascination. The police deploy MBT-90D tanks, armed with autocannons and ATGM launchers, to stop the MBT-99A, but it evades capture. The hijackers, backed by a foreign nation, intend to deliver the tank to an enemy submarine. The chase through the city results in collateral damage, including the destruction of a bank, as the Techno Police attempt to regain control of the advanced vehicle. The tank's design allows for the ejection of a pilot, Eleanor, before an explosion.
