EPISODE CONTEXT
Episode 23 follows directly from the pivotal events of Episode 22, where Ushio's full return and Shinpei's confrontation with Hiruko pushed the narrative past its final turning point and into endgame territory. This penultimate chapter relocates the conflict to Tokoyo, deepening the supernatural mythology while escalating toward the series' climactic showdown.
