📖 SYNOPSIS
"Sumiko (TV)" follows the life of Sumiko, an eight-year-old girl living in a Tokyo suburb. She's a local celebrity, known throughout her neighborhood. Sumiko aspires to be a famous singer. Her mother works at a ramen shop, a frequent hangout for Sumiko after school. Her father, a truck driver, is often away from home for work. However, when he returns, Sumiko cherishes the time they spend together, especially their visits to the local karaoke box. There, she practices her singing, honing her skills and pursuing her dream. The series explores themes of family, ambition, and the everyday life of a young girl in a bustling city.
