EPISODE CONTEXT
Following episode two's introduction of Alpha Omega Nova as Luluco's partner, this episode tests their dynamic with a proper first mission together while expanding the cast with Midori, a classmate who becomes increasingly important going forward. Sitting early in a tight thirteen-episode run, 'Battlefield Classroom' transitions the series from setup into its episodic mission structure and plants seeds for character relationships that will drive the season's back half.
