EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the high-stakes Lee Pyron confrontation in episode 7, this eighth installment deliberately downshifts to deepen character bonds and expand Ryu's role from side player to aspiring shaman. Still early in a 64-episode run, the episode marks a transitional point where the story broadens its scope, introducing new adversaries and challenges that will fuel the conflicts ahead.
