EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting roughly a quarter into the 46-episode season, Episode 13 serves as the climactic conclusion to the Jadeite arc, which has been the primary antagonist thread since the series premiere. The preceding episodes steadily assembled the core inner Senshi team while Jadeite executed increasingly desperate energy-gathering schemes for Queen Beryl. With this chapter closing, the series pivots toward new Dark Kingdom threats, escalating the conflict and expanding the scope of challenges the Sailor Guardians will face moving forward.
