📖 SYNOPSIS
"Rainbow Samurai" unfolds in 19th-century Japan, during the waning years of the Tokugawa Shogunate. On the island of Shikoko, young Ryoma, a member of a lower-class samurai family, is introduced. At seven years old, Ryoma is a sensitive and empathetic boy who despises violence, often moved to tears by even minor acts of cruelty. He is labeled a "cry baby" by his peers and family, but his distress stems from a deep-seated aversion to injustice, not cowardice. Ryoma's older sister is the only one who truly understands his nature, recognizing his special talent and offering him support. The story follows Ryoma's journey as he grows into a key figure in the movement to overthrow the Shogun and open Japan to the West.
