Synopsis
In a little town where humans and Pokémon share a house together, nothing bad happens. That's Pokepeace. No battles, no evil teams, no world-ending stakes — just a young woman named Haru arriving at a cozy Pokémon Resort to work as a concierge, figuring out her new job, and slowly befriending a shy Psyduck who doesn't warm up to people easily. The whole thing is done in this gentle stop-motion animation style that gives everything a handcrafted, almost storybook quality. Haru's joined by a small cast — Alisa, a laid-back part-timer, Tyler handling food and cleanup, and Ms. Watanabe keeping the island running — and together they just... live. Naps happen. Parties happen on special days. Pokémon wander around being themselves. If you've seen Pokémon Concierge on Netflix, this is very much in the same lane, that same "what if Pokémon but peaceful" energy. And if you're into iyashikei shows like Barakamon where the whole point is to feel warm and unhurried, this ONA fits right in. It's aimed at kids, but honestly it works as a wind-down watch for anyone who wants fifteen minutes of calm. Not every Pokémon story needs a league championship. Sometimes a Psyduck just needs a friend.
