EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting roughly a third of the way through the Orange Islands stretch, this episode follows Ash's intense Gym challenge in 'Navel Maneuvers' and serves as a comedic cooldown before the more atmospheric 'A Shipful of Shivers.' It highlights the adventurous, island-hopping rhythm of this arc while giving Ash, Misty, and Tracey room to bond outside of Gym battles.
