EPISODE CONTEXT
Episode 26 marks Ash's pursuit of his fifth gym badge, continuing the steady badge-collection momentum following his Primeape capture in the previous episode. Celadon City represents another milestone on the road to the Indigo League, testing Ash's character as much as his battling skills. This sets the stage for the standalone adventure 'Hypno's Naptime' before the journey pushes further toward the remaining Kanto gyms.
