EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming directly after the escalating terrorist crisis of Episode 23, 'Debris Cluster,' this episode pivots from external threats to the deeply personal toll those events exact on the crew, particularly Tanabe. As episode 24 of 26, it functions as the emotional fulcrum before the series finale, crystallizing the character arcs and moral tensions that have been building all season.
