Otherworldly Munchkin: Let's Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP!
Oshimeter
Synopsis
The universe hands Yukito Kirihara possibly the worst isekai entry imaginable — he dies protecting his little sister Sana from an ogre that randomly shows up at their window, gets offered reincarnation by a goddess named Nephilia, and then discovers his HP is permanently locked at 1. Not "starts at 1 and levels up." Stuck at 1. Forever. One hit from anything and he's done. The catch is that Sana got pulled into this new world too, and Yukito has to speedrun through dungeons to find her. His only real advantage is playing the system like a tabletop RPG munchkin — exploiting every loophole, abusing every mechanic, and min-maxing his way through encounters that should kill him instantly. It's less about raw power fantasy and more about watching someone theory-craft their survival in real time, which gives the fights a genuine tension you don't always get in isekai shows. Every enemy encounter matters when you literally cannot take a single hit. If you liked the strategic problem-solving in Log Horizon or the game-system exploitation in No Game No Life, this hits a similar nerve but with way higher personal stakes. There's also a bit of that Overlord energy in how the protagonist has to think around problems instead of just powering through them. Based on a web manga and animated by Studio Durandal, this TV series is worth keeping on your radar if you're into isekai that actually makes its protagonist earn every win.
