📖 SYNOPSIS
Every three decades, a princess from the Hime family is chosen to serve the Hayagami. This time, the only candidate is 15-year-old Arata, who is secretly male. Forced to disguise himself, he attends the festival, where the current princess, Kokuri-hime, is murdered. Arata is then framed for the crime by Kannagi of the 12 Shinshou, the princess's personal guard. Now a fugitive, Arata must evade the Imperial Court, who believe him to be the murderer. The story explores themes of identity, deception, and survival in a world of ancient traditions and divine beings.
