EPISODE CONTEXT
This is the middle stretch of the Rainbow Mist filler arc, following the Straw Hats' initial encounter with the Pumpkin Pirates and their descent into the mist's disorienting depths. It deepens the crew's entanglement with the mist's mysteries and the children trapped within it. The episode sets the stage for escalating conflict involving Wetton's schemes and the Rainbow Tower in the episodes ahead.
