The candlelit observatory scenes looked gorgeous, giving the episode a calm but uneasy mood. Hikoya’s interactions with the astronomer’s son also helped humanize the brigade further. The pacing is slower, but the emotional storytelling and historical vibe make this one of the series’ most immersive episodes so far. This episode trades nonstop action for knowledge in atmosphere and character depth, and it works surprisingly well.
