When she's sent to recover rogue Humaritts — combat-capable androids who've gone off the grid — she ends up with one as a partner. Lila is assigned to Najica's care, equal parts bodyguard and apprentice, and the two of them spend 12 episodes running missions together while Najica figures out what Lila actually is and where she came from. The android mystery slowly builds in the background while the foreground stays breezy and action-forward. It's a spy procedural with a sci-fi twist, kept light enough that it never takes itself too seriously. The human-android partnership angle gives it a bit of an odd-couple warmth — Najica is sharp and independent, Lila is earnest and learning, and watching them develop trust across missions is genuinely the most interesting part.
