This is a must-watch OVA as it is canon and should be included as Episode 13, with a great conclusion for the first cour. Some plot twists were discuss, particularly the revelation about Hazuki's past. And also, Miyo's unexpected meeting to one high-ranking character. Arata's plea at the end was not expected, but it had a strong impact on the season's finale.
