EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming directly off 'Choices of Conflict,' this episode closes out all thirteen episodes as the definitive season finale, drawing together the supernatural, historical, and interpersonal threads that have accumulated since episode one. The relationship between Takaya and Naoe — the emotional spine of the entire series — reaches its most exposed and consequential point here.
