EPISODE CONTEXT
As the thirteenth and final episode, 'Born to Die' is the definitive resolution to the entire season — the culmination of Joe's climb from underground nobody to the Megalonia championship stage. Episode 12 set the table by pushing Joe to the edge; this episode asks whether he can survive what's on the other side. It also closes the book on Season 1's character arcs while leaving enough thematic resonance to carry into the sequel series, Nomad: Megalo Box 2.
