This is episode one of 102, making it the absolute foundation of everything that follows — there is no prior episode to reference. It exists purely to establish Ginta, the world of MÄR-Heaven, and the central mechanics of ÄRMs before the series begins building toward larger conflicts and a widening cast. What this episode sets up directly feeds into Ginta's earliest explorations of MÄR-Heaven and his first encounters with the forces that will define the series' long-running adventure arc.
