📖 SYNOPSIS
Meet Eita Akutsu — an introverted robotics nerd who's been crushing on the most popular girl in school, Makina Agatsuma, from a safe distance. He's the type who'd rather tinker with circuits than make eye contact. Then one day he finds Makina injured outside his apartment, and she turns out to be an android — specifically one designed to seduce and manipulate men for intelligence gathering. The catch? She's malfunctioning, which means her seduction protocols keep firing off at the worst possible times, directed squarely at the one guy least equipped to handle it. Now Eita has to keep her secret, fix her glitches, and somehow survive high school while a beautiful robot girl keeps accidentally trying to charm him into oblivion.
It's a 12-episode TV series from BloomZ that leans hard into the comedy and ecchi side of things, but the dynamic between Eita's awkward sincerity and Makina's broken programming gives it a weirdly sweet core. The sci-fi premise keeps things from feeling like just another school romcom — there's actual tension around who built Makina and why, which gives the story somewhere to go beyond the gags.
If you liked the robot-girl romance angle of Chobits or the chaotic energy of To Love Ru but want something with a slightly more grounded male lead, this one's worth checking out. Based on a manga, so expect a decent foundation for the story beats. The tone stays light and youthful throughout — good for when you want something fun without needing to think too hard.
