EPISODE CONTEXT
After the more investigative tone of episode 9's illness storyline, episode 10 pivots sharply to an external existential threat, marking the beginning of the season's endgame with only two episodes remaining. The resurgence of a long-dormant danger recontextualizes the world-building and alliances Shion has developed throughout the series. This episode sets the stage directly for the climactic confrontations expected in episodes 11 and 12.
