EPISODE CONTEXT
Following the dungeon conquest and Aladdin's separation from Alibaba in Episode 3, this episode resets the board entirely — new setting, new characters, new stakes. It's an early-season pivot that introduces the Kou Empire as a major political force and establishes the Kouga Clan conflict that will drive the next stretch of episodes. At Episode 4 of 25, this is Magi signaling that its scope extends well beyond treasure hunting into geopolitics and empire.
