EPISODE CONTEXT
After Episode 7 offered a breather with more character-focused, interpersonal moments, Episode 8 snaps the tension back into place and refocuses on the Tohno family's supernatural secrets. Sitting at the two-thirds mark of a 12-episode run, this is where the series begins tightening its grip — loose threads around Akiha and the household start pulling toward something darker.
