EPISODE CONTEXT
Following the devastating toll of 'Quiet Move,' where the alliance fleet suffered serious losses and the Guild's grip on Prester was finally put to the test, 'Resign' is the culmination of every faction's long struggle for survival and sovereignty. This is the episode where the prolonged conflict between the alliance forces and the Guild reaches its decisive breaking point. As the series finale, it closes out Claus and Lavie's journey while charting what the future of Prester might look like beyond war.
