EPISODE CONTEXT
Following Episode 1's groundwork establishing Amidahara as a city of predators and the unconventional bond between Annerose and Rikurou, this episode deepens that central relationship before the series' conflicts escalate further. At the midpoint of a four-episode run, it functions as the critical character-building chapter, layering motivation and tension that the back half will pay off.
