KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! - God's Blessing on This Wonderful Choker!

After a chance encounter with Yunyun, Kazuma finds himself in a life-threatening situation when he puts on a magical choker that tightens until his wish is granted.

📖 SYNOPSIS

Of course Kazuma would slap on a cursed choker from a sketchy magic shop, because that's exactly the kind of thing he does. Turns out it strangles you to death in four days unless your deepest wish gets fulfilled — and Kazuma has no idea what he even wished for. That's the setup for this KonoSuba OVA, and if you know these characters at all, you already know this is going to go sideways in the best way.

Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness all volunteer to help Kazuma figure out his wish by doing whatever he asks, which is exactly as dangerous as it sounds when you're dealing with a guy like Kazuma and three people who are each dysfunctional in their own very specific ways. The whole thing plays out like a comedy of errors where every attempt to solve the problem just creates new, dumber problems. Yunyun even shows up to add to the chaos, because why not.

This is a single OVA episode from 2016 by Studio Deen, set between the first and second seasons. It's pure comedic filler in the most enjoyable sense — no plot to advance, just the core cast bouncing off each other in a ridiculous scenario. The isekai parody angle is still there, but really this one lives or dies on character dynamics, and it delivers.

If you liked the irreverent tone of The Devil Is a Part-Timer or the chaotic energy of No Game No Life, this is the same neighborhood. And if you're already a KonoSuba fan, you probably watched this ages ago. If not, it's a solid 25 minutes of these idiots being idiots.

✨ MUST WATCH IF...

You love KonoSuba's main series and want more Kazuma-party chaos in a single OVA
Fanservice-heavy comedy with Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness catering to Kazuma's whims sounds fun
You enjoy quick, low-stakes comedy — one episode, one silly choker premise, zero commitment
The dysfunctional party dynamic is your favorite part of KonoSuba's humor

❌ SKIP IF...

You're not caught up on KonoSuba Season 1 — this OVA assumes you know the cast
Suggestive humor and fanservice-driven gags aren't your thing at all
You expect Studio Deen's animation to stay consistent — some scenes look noticeably rough
