KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 OVA

In most isekai stories, the hero gets cool powers and a destiny to save the world. Kazuma Satou got a useless goddess, an archmage who can only cast one spell per day, and a crusader who actively enjoys getting hit. This 2-episode OVA picks up right where KonoSuba Season 3 left off, dropping Kazuma's dysfunctional party into two standalone misadventures in the town of Axel. In the first episode, a typhoon is headed straight for town, and the brilliant plan is to have Megumin blow it up with her explosion magic — which goes about as well as you'd expect. The second episode has Kazuma running into a mysterious adventurer looking for someone named "Kazuma Satou," and the resulting identity confusion plays out in peak KonoSuba fashion. There's no major plot progression here, and that's kind of the point. These are pure comedy episodes that lean into the character dynamics that made the series work in the first place — Aqua being confidently wrong, Megumin treating every problem as explosion-shaped, Darkness finding new ways to be Darkness. If you liked Re:Zero but wished Subaru's suffering was played for laughs instead of trauma, or if No Game No Life and The Devil is a Part-Timer are already in your rotation, this is more of what you're here for. It's comfort food for anyone who's already invested in these idiots.
