After his debts are cleared, Kazuma's newfound fame as a hero is tested when a fan requests his help, leading him and his dysfunctional party on a golem-hunting quest.

📖 SYNOPSIS

Against all odds, Kazuma Satou has a fan. One single person in the entire Adventurer's Guild actually looks up to him, a rookie named Ran, and he is not about to let that go. So naturally, he accepts a quest to fight a giant golem guarding ancient ruins — not because he's brave, but because he's desperate to seem cool. This is KonoSuba in a nutshell. This OVA is a standalone bonus episode from the second season, and it delivers exactly what you'd expect: Kazuma trying to maintain a shred of dignity while his party dismantles it piece by piece. Aqua is still a useless goddess, Megumin still only knows one spell, and Darkness is still... well, Darkness. The whole thing runs about 25 minutes and it's pure comedic filler in the best way — no stakes, no plot progression, just the dysfunctional gang being themselves. If you've already watched KonoSuba seasons one and two, this is more of what you love. If you haven't, go watch those first. For fans of isekai comedies, this sits in the same lane as Re:Zero's lighter moments or No Game No Life's absurdist energy, except KonoSuba leans way harder into parody. The fantasy world here exists mostly so the characters can embarrass themselves in it. Studio Deen keeps the animation loose and expressive, which fits the tone perfectly. It's a short, low-commitment watch that rewards anyone already invested in this ridiculous cast.
