Synopsis
After an exciting and momentous cultural festival, Shouko Komi continues her endeavor to make one hundred friends alongside her friend and classmate Hitohito Tadano. As winter begins, the class is joined by the seemingly delinquent student Makoto Katai, who has been absent since the first week of school. Despite his intimidating appearance, Katai has difficulty communicating with others and just wants to befriend his classmates. View all 60 takesKomi is such a savior. The vibe is consistently charming, even if Yamai’s antics still tend to divide the audience. My only real gripe with this episode is that it feels a bit weird that they’re still throwing a bunch of brand-new characters at us with only one episode left.
The pacing here is also a bit slower. But the Valentine's Day arc is 10/10 since the visual issue was seamless with inner dialogue & cool speech bubbles make the manga feel real; it’s definitely one of the most creative-looking comedies out there perfectly matched with the VO.
