King of Prism: Your Endless Call - Mi~nna Kirameki! Prism☆Tours
Oshimeter
Synopsis
A group of seven idols get their hands on a time machine and use it to explore the history of Prism Shows across different eras and dimensions. That's the setup for this King of Prism movie, and honestly, it's about as wild as it sounds. Shin Ichijou and the rest of SePTENTRION hop between timelines, meeting legendary performers from across the entire Pretty Series franchise — so if you've been following any corner of that universe, there are crossover moments here that hit different. The vibe is warm, sparkly, and genuinely earnest about friendship and what it means to perform. There's no cynicism here. These guys discover the roots of their art form while figuring out what they mean to each other as a group, and the film plays that sincerity completely straight. Tatsunoko Production keeps the visuals bright and the Prism Show sequences characteristically over-the-top. What makes this one structurally interesting is the route-branching screening format — the movie literally has multiple story paths depending on your viewing, which turns it into something closer to an event than a standard film. Some screenings are also interactive cheer sessions where the audience participates, which is very on-brand for King of Prism. If you liked THE iDOLM@STER SideM or Uta no Prince-sama for the male idol dynamics, this scratches a similar itch but leans harder into fantasy spectacle. Fans of Ensemble Stars will also find familiar energy here. It's a love letter to the franchise dressed up as a time-travel adventure.
