EPISODE CONTEXT
After Episode 2 established early alliances and set the tournament's brutal stakes in motion, Episode 3 pivots to the character-spotlight format that defines much of Juuni Taisen's structure—each warrior getting their moment before the field narrows. Niwatori's focus episode deepens the roster beyond surface-level combat abilities and sets up the interpersonal dynamics and vulnerabilities that will fuel confrontations in the episodes ahead.
