EPISODE CONTEXT
Directly following the group's encounter with Kagura's deceptive wind-based attacks, episode 41 escalates Naraku's threat by introducing another incarnation, deepening the web of antagonists the team must navigate. Sitting roughly a quarter of the way through InuYasha's 167-episode run, this stretch represents a critical expansion of the show's central conflict beyond Naraku alone.
