EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the emotionally disruptive Kikyo arc that saw Sacred Jewel fragments lost, Episode 34 pivots to the sibling rivalry that will recur throughout InuYasha's full 167-episode run. This episode establishes Totosai and deepens the mythology around the inherited swords, laying critical groundwork for future Sesshomaru confrontations and Inuyasha's ongoing journey to master Tetsusaiga.
