EPISODE CONTEXT
Following Episode 110's proper introduction of Bankotsu as the Band of Seven's leader, this episode escalates directly into the confrontation fans have been waiting for since the mercenary group first appeared. Sitting at roughly the two-thirds mark of the series, this clash represents a critical turning point in resolving the Band of Seven threat while keeping the broader Naraku conflict simmering underneath.
