EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming directly off Episode 103's resurrection of the Band of Seven, this is the first real showcase of what these mercenaries can do individually — Mukotsu's poison tactics establish that each member brings a distinct and deadly skillset. Sitting at episode 104 of 167, this falls squarely in the middle stretch where the Band of Seven arc tests the group's endurance and unity across multiple confrontations. It sets the stage for escalating encounters with the remaining Band members, each pushing InuYasha's crew in different ways.
