I'm Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!?: Somehow I Got Flustered at the Beach/Somehow I Got Close to Advanced-Level Yoma
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Meet Tsukasa Atsumi, a regular salaryman who gets jumped by demons on his way home. Turns out he's got something called 'Samurai Blood,' which makes him a supernatural magnet. Enter Shizuri Ideura, an elite kunoichi who saves his life and proposes a master-servant contract to keep him safe — which basically means she moves into his apartment. Sounds intense, right? Here's the thing: when Shizuri isn't slicing through demons, she's a full-blown NEET otaku glued to video games and manga, barely lifting a finger around the house. So now Tsukasa, the dutiful homemaker, is cooking meals and doing laundry for a ninja who could absolutely destroy him but would rather binge-read manga in her pajamas. These two ONA episodes are bonus stories from the main series — one's a beach outing where things get awkward, the other involves Tsukasa getting friendly with a former high-level demon. Both lean into the comedic, romantic dynamic that makes the show work. The whole appeal is watching this contrast between deadly ninja and lazy couch potato play out in a domestic setting, with Tsukasa somehow holding it all together. If you liked the cohabitation comedy of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid or the cozy supernatural vibes of The Helpful Fox Senko-san, this hits a similar spot. It's light, it's funny, and the character dynamic between these two carries it.
