I'm Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!?
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Meet Tsukasa Atsumi, a salaryman living the most unremarkable life possible — until a demon tries to kill him on his walk home and a kunoichi in full ninja gear drops in to save him. Her name is Shizuri Ideura, and she explains that his ancestral Samurai Blood makes him a magnet for supernatural attacks. The solution? She moves in with him to provide round-the-clock protection. Sounds intense, right? Except when Shizuri isn't slicing up demons, she's sprawled on the couch in sweats, binge-playing video games and living her best NEET life. The gap between deadly ninja operative and lazy otaku roommate is where this 24-episode TV series finds most of its comedy. Tsukasa, a responsible guy just trying to get through his work week, now has to deal with both demon attacks and a freeloader who won't do the dishes. If you liked the cohabitation dynamic in Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid or the dual-personality gag from Himouto! Umaru-chan, this hits a similar sweet spot — supernatural girl moves in, domestic chaos follows. There's also a bit of The Devil Is a Part-Timer! energy in how it grounds its fantasy elements in mundane everyday life. The romance builds slowly alongside the comedy, and the contrast between Tsukasa's diligence and Shizuri's complete lack of motivation keeps things entertaining. It's a comfortable watch — low stakes, warm vibes, and a fun central pair.
