📖 SYNOPSIS

By the time its fourth season rolls around, IDOLiSH7 has already put its cast through the emotional wringer — and the latest season picks up right where things left off, with the seven-member idol group still fighting to hold their ground in an industry that doesn't care how hard you've worked. Riku, Iori, Yamato, Mitsuki, Tamaki, Sogo, and Nagi each carry their own baggage, and what makes this show stick is how it never lets you forget that. New rivalries surface early on, and the group's manager Tsumugi is doing her best to keep everything from falling apart while bigger opportunities come knocking. The drama here isn't manufactured — it builds on seasons of relationships, insecurities, and ambitions that feel earned. If you liked Uta no Prince-sama but wanted something with more weight behind the sparkle, this is where you land. Fans of Ensemble Stars or B-Project: Kodou*Ambitious will recognize the format, but IDOLiSH7 leans harder into character backstories and the messier side of what it takes to stay relevant. The performance sequences still deliver, and the soundtrack is genuinely solid — not just background noise but something that pushes the emotional scenes forward. Fair warning though: jumping into season four cold would be a mistake. The payoff here depends on everything that came before. Start from the beginning, let yourself get attached, and then this season hits different.
