EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off Episode 7's focus on Yui and Masugu's anniversary milestone, Episode 8 deliberately broadens the narrative lens at the two-thirds mark of the season by investing in Hayakawa and Somei's dynamic. This pivot adds emotional depth to the series' larger thesis about workplace romance and sets the groundwork for these characters to play a more meaningful role in the final stretch of episodes heading into the conclusion.
