EPISODE CONTEXT
Episode 3 established Kyosuke's burning desire to prove himself as a striker, making his forced reassignment to defense in Episode 4 a deliberate escalation of his internal conflict — the series is testing his resolve early. This defensive role challenge directly feeds into Episode 5, 'Running Away?', where the fallout from this shift forces Kyosuke to confront whether he'll adapt or break. At episode 4 of 52, this is foundational character work that will define Kyosuke's mentality for the long road ahead.
