EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the lively sports day energy of Episode 3, this fourth episode deliberately downshifts into a quieter, more personal register—a rhythm that defines much of Horimiya: Piece's approach to filling in the gaps of these characters' lives. Sitting early in the 13-episode run, it deepens the everyday bonds between Hori, Miyamura, and their circle, laying emotional groundwork for the more nuanced relationship explorations the back half of the season builds toward.
